Dayna Patreace was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Her music has a 90's sound with an original tone infused with melodies that stems from Caribbean culture. Her 90's old school sound with an urban twist makes her sound unique and sets her apart from any other artist in her genre.
She found her voice singing in her church choir at the age of three, but always dreamed of sharing her music locally, across the country, and eventually the world. She began writing songs in her teens as a way of escaping life through music. She started her music career by promoting her work online, posting original recordings that lead to her taking the #1 Spot on "Reverb nations" in the singer/song writing genres located Toronto, Ontario charts. Her achievements lead to an interest by online radio station locally in her music, and an opportunity to work with R&B musician/producer Roy Hamilton III.
Her strong work ethic and talent has landed her a production deal with Dream Stars Canadian Records which produces hits from Provocals Studios. Dayna has been steadily increasing her exposure through airplay, live on air radio stations, and through live television screening.
Dayna Patreace is also a producer in her own right, constructing written songs from scratch and collaborating with other local artists. From this experience the artists produced a song called "We Could Be" which was performed at Xposed fashion show and received positive feedback from audience.
Dayna Patreace is currently working on a new EP which she hopes to debut in Fall 2016, she is also working with the industries most talented artist Shyann Bailey who is working to take her new music and set the R&B charts on fire. Her first single "In Love" is to be debut in June 2016 on local radio station Steady Vybz 89.5.
